I produce quality custom graphics for use in web pages, on letterhead and envelopes, or just about any purpose you like. Would you like your existing logo made into 3-D? How about an animated version, that glows, spins around, fades in and out or shrinks and grows (like your cash flow)?
Need a new logo? I can design one for you. Just let me know the nature of your business and, of course, the name, and ideas you may have for your logo's appearance. Of course, this can be done for your product, as well. View these original logos I've designed.
Whether I created your logo or not, if you need your logo re-sized or a file format converted, I can take care of that for you, too. It's important to both of us that a logo I design for you doesn't end up deformed or otherwise bad looking once you've got your website or final presentation set up!
Virtually all the art in the 3-D Gallery is for sale. While it is there for viewing, and is copyrighted, it is available for purchase as cover art, or any other use. If you desire a new, original piece, I will be happy to create it for you. Any existing art purchased will remain in my gallery only if you wish. As well, art done specifically for you will only be posted if you wish.
I can scan existing photos, 2-D images or line art (up to 8.5 X 14), and convert them into any size GIF (87 or 89/animated), JPEG, BMP, and TIFF files.
In fact, all art can be provided in any and all popular formats, so that your images can be used in all applications, such as those that support importing images, as well as use on your web pages. Full color or greyscale can be achieved for your custom needs. I can send you a printed, full color copy of your image so that you can take it to your printing service for reproduction into business cards, letterhead, etc.
I can also produce publications for you using Microsoft Publisher. This work can utilize all scanning and graphics capabilities, providing beautiful documents which can contain text in many fonts, colors, and sizes, as well as limitless graphics, including photographs.

Web Page Design and Development

I can design and develop a web site for you with the same professional (and fun at the same time!) look and feel that mine has (If I do say so myself..)! Site design work is developed with standards-compliant popular browsers in mind. I craft HTML code by hand, and comply with the HTML 4.01 standard, utilizing styles ("Cascading Style Sheets") for the best interoperable design. This site has been verified by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
I can help you get started with an Internet Service Provider (ISP), help you with layout ideas, provide you with graphics, or I can do the whole thing for you from scratch! Any custom web page can be achieved, with your goals in mind. Services include contact with my ISP, helping you get set up and registered (for a domain name), HTML authoring, custom graphic artwork and backgrounds, background sound (anything publicly available in browser-supported format), animated graphics - all customized for you.
Free consultation includes lessons-learned, how-to advice on everything from registering a domain name, to uploading files to your ISP's server, and such topics (and opinions) of what graphics and such are good and not-so-good for use on a web page. Ask me some questions!
I can provide maintenance of your site (developed and maintained by me), so that changes we make can be uploaded from my office at your request. Maintenance and upload services may be arranged in addition to the initial development and delivery of your web site fileset. (You'll find that you are never "done" with your web site.)
I can also provide your files complete, separate storage on removable media, for safety and/or shipment to you for your own keeping and maintenance (Up to 1 gigabyte of data on an Iomega Jaz drive and 700 megabytes on CD. Smaller archives can even be stored and mailed on old-fashioned 3.5 floppy).

Applets - Interactive, Multimedia Web Site jewels!

Java applets (Applications for use in web pages) provide interactive, multimedia menus, previews, advertising opportunities, and other great enhancements to a web site. These jewels are portable, run on any platform, and are supported by the most popular browsers. If you already have a web page, I can develop a Java applet for you, delivered via any means, with complete instructions on uploading and adding the tags to your existing HTML.
Here is an example of a nice little floating applet which you may interact with. You can move the applet anywhere you want, and focusing this window will send it behind. It's not just fun, but an example applet, should you be interested in such! Of course, such an effect can be made to pop-up when your page loads or unloads, too.
Applets may employ animated graphics (like your logo I design), banners, many styles of scrolling and other text displays, contain interactive menus, link to other pages, and many other features and uses! Your users (viewers) may interact with your applet in many ways. As far as graphics go, your applet may contain any style, animated or not, and may be made to blend with the background of the page in which it is run (displayed), or even "float" outside in a page of its own. You may have run across a couple of examples here at Roosl's.

We can view animated graphics, hear background music and other sounds, and interact with on-line applications, such as chat rooms, and, of course, experience the best web sites. These sites, whether they want us to obtain a product or service or not, are best remembered, and re-visited - when they contain these multimedia objects, events, and visual effects. For web pages, multimedia effects can range from the simplest, such as a single animated GIF file, to one which also has background music, to one with many animations, sound, and interactive applications built right into the pages, such as with applets. * A complete web page at Roosl.com (for example, your URL would be http://www.roosl.com/your-band-name) includes photos, e-mail links to each member with an e-mail address, member bios, play list, and schedule of appearances. Of course, you'll need to provide me with the "message" (what you want to say) for your page, and photos.
** Maintenance includes periodic (as needed) updates, which includes your playlist, schedule, new photos, and any other desired changes. I'll take care of it for you! This includes up to 4 changes and uploads each month (like, weekly, dude!).

I create a logo for you so that people recognize your name. Think about the recognizable band names you know... They have a logo!
Using your logo, graphics, pictures of your band and members, I set up a web page for you and keep it updated with play dates, locations, and your other wants and needs.
I can also create cool business cards for each band member for you to hand out and leave where ever you want. Each business card will have your band name (logo), web page address, phone number, name and instrument, etc. As well, I can make your band a flyer to hand out or hang around town so people know about you and where and when you'll be playing!
Ideally, one band member (perhaps the one who books the gigs) will coordinate with me for your needs. Get in touch today!
Note: None of the above will improve the way your band sounds as well as practice, practice, practice (and perhaps tequila).

Flat rate quoted depending on effort, functionality and need. Discounts are provided for software which is useful to others, if I post it on the Software page for public access and download.
Fees for archival include postage to send you your disk(s).
There is a one hour minimum charge for all hourly fees.
