Print Designs, Layout, Flash, Covers, Presentations and Banners
Here are a few original print designs, other layout, Flash, cover, presentation and banner designs. Some are in use by clients, some are for my own use.
Designs in this category include virtually anything that isn't a logo or similar design. Layouts include flyers and mailers, brochures, product labels, letterhead, envelopes, business cards, you name it.
A design at 300 dpi would appear too large viewed in your browser, so most are reduced in size for this page. Some here are older, low resolution images intended only for web use. File formats on this page include PNG, JPG (JPEG), GIF, PDF and Flash.
Any graphic work may be produced as print ready PDF for industry standard submission to your printing company, and as vector graphics for signage. See my Design Services page for details and links to other sample designs.
The same layout design made print-ready and exported to PDF for offline publication can be made into an online interactive PDF and Flash version.
Graphic work can be fancy, detailed, or simple, as these examples show. High definition, animated, large or small, custom resolution renders insure a quality look and fit.
Please do not assume that my own graphics on this site are the style I will provide for you (unless that is what you want). Don't assume that any sample work here is all that is available to you. I will design your custom graphics just for you, not the same thing I did for myself or another client.
Print Designs, Layout, Flash, Covers, Presentations
My portfolio is itself a complex layout design, presented in both Flash and PDF. This requires a recent version of Flash Player, and in some browsers, permission to run it. Both the Flash and PDF versions contain full size pages and are large files, and will take a minute to load.
The portfolio is in magazine format. It is interactive, allowing the viewer to "turn pages" either by clicking the arrows or dragging the corners of the page.

The demonstration features a project from the 3D Gallery which has been put into magazine format and presented with Flash Player. It is interactive, allowing the viewer to "turn pages" either by clicking the arrows or dragging the corners of the page. The same magazine design from which this demo is made can be made print-ready and exported to PDF for offline publication. Hence, your design for print can be easily made into an online version.
This poster is on the wall within a scene in the original "Karate Kid". A client wanted it replicated to give her boyfriend for Christmas, because every time they watched the movie, he would say "I really want that poster". Using still images from the movie for reference, I created this poster for her. This is a raster image of the 18x24 inch, high resolution print, provided as a print-ready PDF.
These images represent advertising mailers produced for a corporate client. Print ready, the deliverables were provided in AI and as PDF. This client has returned for other marketing material designs.
This is a simple, one page (8.5x11) design. The PDF (15 Mb) contains the complete print ready design (compressed for viewing here to minimize file size).
This is a complex, 4 page (17x11, folded to 8.5x11) design. The PDF for this layout is not posted here (it's over 90 Mb), but clicking the image will display a full size image of the layout.
This image is the front cover art from a hard cover jacket design. How it appears in the PDF is how it gets printed (unfolded flat). All dimensions, including total height, width, and the width of the flaps and spine are defined by the publisher/printer. This mockup design was proposed to an author who never provided the final textual content or size requirements. After two weeks of unanswered questions, I changed the name and added generic text to present it here as a sample. The cover art was custom rendered for her, based on her ideas.
Book jacket (1.3 Mb). This PDF contains the complete jacket design.
Proposed for a wanabe brewery, this label's info (text) is ficticious, as it was never provided.
Sample product label. Self explanatory, this one (actual size 7x3 in) will wrap a 16 oz square or cylindrical bottle.
A sample album cover (CD inserts) project. You'll notice the pages are slightly larger than a CD case, because they have the extra "bleed" area, so that when it is trimmed, the graphics go to the edge. These are examples of what you would send your printing company. Note each PDF is a large file, so it may take a minute if you're not using broadband. You may view properties/metadata for details and author comments. The art is not 300 dpi, so these samples are not print ready, but designed for viewing.
CD front insert (18 Mb). This contains the front booklet insert, a single fold 2 page sheet (4 page booklet).
CD tray insert (3 Mb). This contains the rear (bottom) tray insert, a single 1 page sheet. It fits under the CD holder (behind the CD) and has 2 folds for the edges.
Very simple wine bottle label designs were for a client who also received a coordinated CD insert design.
This image is part of this interactive, animated presentation I did for two merging teams at Wells Fargo. Mouse actions affect the presentation. Edited for display here, this one is made entirely of animated GIF files. Thus, there was no need for the audience of average users to have Flash or other plugins, and it could be presented in any browser window.
